Md. Kamal Hossain Benapole (Jashore). Correspondent: Border Guard Bangladesh BGB members have recovered 52 bottles of Indian WINCEREX syrup and 50 bottles of Indian Escaf syrup in a BGB operation in Goga border area of Sharsha, Jessore.
On Monday (January 12) morning, Khulna Battalion (21 BGB) Commander Lt. Col. Mohammad Khurshid Anwar said that as part of the BGB's operation activities, intelligence surveillance and patrolling activities of the BGB have been strengthened at the border to arrest smuggling rings including smuggled goods and drugs.
In continuation of this, 52 bottles of Indian WINCEREX syrup and 50 bottles of Indian Escaf syrup were seized during an anti-smuggling operation in the border areas of Rudrapur and Goga BOP.
The BGB commander also said that such operations of the BGB will continue to stop any kind of smuggling, including drugs and other smuggling, in the border areas of the country, said the BGB official.
