A large amount of domestic and foreign firearms and ammunition have been recovered in a special operation by the Navy in Hnila, Teknaf.
The operation was conducted on Friday night at the house of top terrorist Mizan alias Lomba Mizan of Uluchamari Konapara area of Ward No. 6 of Hnila Union.
Based on information that there is a huge stock of weapons in the home of Mizan alias Lomba Mizan, the Navy's Specialized Force SWADS and the Navy Contingent Teknaf jointly conducted the operation.
1 foreign and 2 domestic pistols, 1 single-barrel gun, 10 grenades, ammunition and domestic sharp weapons were recovered.
It is learned that the recovered weapons and ammunition have been handed over to Teknaf Police Station for further legal action.
