Md. Kamal Hossain Benapole (Jashore) Representative: A preparatory meeting was held in Sharsha, Jessore, on the occasion of Martyr Intellectuals Day on December 14 and Great Victory Day 2025 on December 16.
The preparatory meeting began at 11 am on Sunday (December 7) in the meeting room of the Upazila Parishad under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Fazle Wahid.
(December 14 and December 16). A preparatory meeting was held at the initiative of the Sharsha Upazila Administration to celebrate the two national days with due dignity.
In the meeting, Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Fazle Wahid took all the opinions and proposals of the meeting seriously to celebrate the two days with due dignity and gave necessary instructions to all concerned for the successful implementation of the program.
Present at the time were Sharsha Upazila BNP Advisor Khairuzzaman Madhu, Sharsha Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Officer Md. Niaz Makhdum, Women and Children Affairs Officer Jahan E Gulshan, Upazila Social Service Officer Touhidul Islam, Sharsha Press Club President Ahmed Ali Shahin, Journalist, General Secretary Abdul Mannan, Journalist, Benapole Port Press Club Azizul Haque, Journalist, Organizing Secretary Anisur Rahman, Publicity Secretary Shahabuddin Ahamed.
Also present were all the officials of the upazila administration and the headmasters of all schools and colleges in the upazila, and officials of various departments, freedom fighters, public representatives, teachers, journalists, and representatives of civil society from various classes and professions.
