Today (December 6), Saturday at 10:30 am, the triennial general meeting of Nawabganj District College Teachers - Employees Welfare Association (NJEKSHIS) Chapainawabganj was held in the hall of Shah Neyamatullah College in Chapainawabganj. The newly elected executive committee of Chapainawabganj District College Teachers - Employees Welfare Association (NJEKSHIS) with 35 members unveiled the list. The newly elected president of the Nawabganj District College Teachers and Employees Welfare Association (NJECS) triennial general meeting is Shah Neyamatullah College Principal Md. Tariqul Alam Siddiqui and the general secretary is Bir Shrestha Shaheed Captain Mohiuddin Jahangir College Principal Md. Babul Akhtar. Md. Obaidur Rahman, member of NJECS and principal of Nachol Women's College, delivered the welcome speech at the event. Those who spoke as special guests were former MP of Chapainawabganj-3 constituency and premises principal (acting) of Nawabganj City College and Shah Neyamatullah College Governing Body President Md. Latifur Rahman, Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Abdul Wahed, former Upazila Chairman and NJECS member Md. Mokhleshur Rahman, and NJECS member Md. Anwar Hossain. A total of 7 checks were given at the event, out of which 2 were given donation checks to the nominees of deceased members and 5 were given checks for the deposited money along with the dividends to the nominees of deceased members. Also speaking were former president of NJECSIS Md. Mosharraf Hossain, former president of NJECSIS Md. Saidur Rahman and former general secretary of NJECSIS Md. Ataur Rahman. Muhammad Farhat Hossain, lecturer of Shah Neamatullah College, led the prayers for the deceased.
