Md. Kamal Hossain Benapole (Jashore). Correspondent: Apart from Benapole, there is no other upazila in Bangladesh. A huge protest march has been held at the initiative of Upazila BNP against the banned Awami League's lockdown program in Dhaka.
On Thursday (November 13th), at 4:30 pm, a huge protest march against the banned Awami League's lockdown program began from the Sharsha Upazila BNP party office and ended peacefully after going through the main roads of the upazila and reaching the party office.
The protest march was led by Upazila BNP General Secretary Alhaj Nuruzzaman Liton.
About two to three thousand BNP leaders and activists protested in the procession.
Present at the time were Sharsha Upazila BNP General Secretary Alhaj Nuruzzaman Liton, Senior Joint General Secretary Advocate Mostafa Kamal Mintu, Vice President Abdul Majid, Deputy Office Secretary Saiduzzaman, Labor Affairs Secretary Md. Shahid Ali. Benapole Municipality BNP Vice President AKM Atikuzzaman Soni, Organizing Secretary Akhtaruzzaman Akhter, Bahadurpur Union BNP President Saheb Ali Master, General Secretary Rabiul Islam Robi, Putkhali Union BNP General Secretary Abdul Quader, Ulashi Union BNP President Abdul Hamid, Goga Union Senior Vice President Sarwar Hossain, Upazila Krishak Dal President Amirul Islam, Upazila Women's Affairs Secretary Parul Begum.
Also present were Yarsha Upazila Jubo Dal convener Mostafizzjoha Selim, Benapole Municipality Jubo Dal convener Mofizur Rahman Babu, joint conveners Ataur Rahman, Ripon, Mir Alam, Benapole Municipality Swechchhasebak Dal member secretary Omar Faruk, Benapole Municipality Krishak Dal general secretary Jamal Hossain, Upazila Chhatra Dal convener Shariful Islam Chayan, senior joint convener Mohaimenul Sagar, Benapole Municipality Chhatra Dal convener Ariful Islam Arif and leaders of all BNP organizations were present.
At this time, the speakers announced the lockdown resistance and said that on August 5, Fastit Hasina fled the country and sat in India and called for sabotage in the name of lockdown. And the ghosts of Awami League are involved in various conspiracies behind the cover of various classes and professions inside the country. We must be vigilant against all these conspiracies. If anyone creates sabotage in our peaceful Sharsha Upazila in the name of lockdown, they will be given a stern response.
