Representative: The meeting was held at 10 am on Wednesday (November 5) in the meeting room of the administrative building organized by the Sharsha Upazila Administration.
The meeting, chaired by Sharsha Upazila Executive Officer Dr. Kazi Nazib Hasan, was attended by Bangladesh Jamaat Islami Working Council member Maulana Azizur Rahman, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Niaz Makhdum, Upazila Agriculture Officer Deepak Kumar Saha, Sharsha Police Station OC (Investigation) Shah Alam, Upazila Implementation Officer Shahriar Mahmud Ranju, Upazila Rural Development Officer SM Shakhir Hossain, Upazila Cooperative Officer Abdur Rashed, along with the heads of various educational institutions of the upazila and all union administrators.
In the meeting, he ordered the law enforcement agencies to increase their activities in view of the upcoming national elections. At the same time, he announced a ban on the sale and consumption of tobacco products within 200 yards of all educational institutions in the upazila for the safety of students.
