Correspondent: Police have arrested a drug dealer with 250 grams of marijuana in a Sharsha police station operation in Jessore.
The arrested accused is Mostafizur Rahman (50), son of the deceased Moklesur Rahman of Sonatankati village of Sharsha police station.
On Friday (November 21) evening, police said that a drug dealer was arrested with 250 grams of marijuana from the Raripukur area under Sharsha police station during an anti-drug operation in the Sharsha police station area.
Sharsha Police Station Officer-in-Charge OC Abdul Alim confirmed the matter and said that Sharsha Police Station Case No. 17, dated 21/11/2025, Section 36(1) Table 19(a) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2018 has been registered against the arrested accused. The arrested accused is under the process of being handed over to the learned court.
