Benapole: BNP's campaign in Jessore-1 (Sharsha) constituency has intensified around the upcoming 13th National Parliament election. On Wednesday (November 13, 2025) afternoon, a lively courtyard meeting was held with women voters at Alek's house in Gazi Para Ward No. 2 of Bagh Anchra Union. Former MP and former BNP Central Office Secretary Janneta Mofiqul Hasan Tripti.
At the meeting, he said that rice ears symbolize the people's right to vote and freedom. Democracy will return to the country only if this symbol is made victorious.
He distributed rice ear leaflets to the women voters present at the courtyard meeting and highlighted BNP's 31-point pledge. Tripti further said,
In the past days, the voice of the people has been silenced. This time, the people will answer through votes.
Local women voters expressed excitement over Tripti's speech and said that they want to play a role in restoring democracy by voting on the paddy field.
Also present at the meeting were District Jubo Dal Joint Convener Imdadul Haque Imdad, Senior Joint Convener Al Mamun Bablu, Upazila BNP Information Secretary Ataur Rahman Ata, and Legal Secretary Moshiar Rahman.
