Jamaat Fully Ready to Run the State with the Love and Mandate of the People - Mubarak Hossain
Mr. Mubarak Hossain, Central Executive Council Member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Jessore-Kushtia Regional Director, said, “If Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami gets the opportunity to form a state with the love and mandate of the people, then it is fully ready to gift Bangladesh a welfare state free from bribery and corruption, free from extortionists and usurpers. He made a heartfelt appeal to the countrymen to give Jamaat-e-Islami an opportunity to serve the state.
He further said that in the past, many leaders have been unfairly harassed and conspired due to dishonest political motives and vindictive attitudes. He alleged that through the so-called kangaroo court, false and fabricated cases were filed, party-based false testimonies were given, witnesses were abducted from the court premises and smuggled to other countries, through the Skype scandal Judicial killings have been committed by hanging top leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami by bringing verdicts from abroad.
Mr. Mubarak Hossain said these things as the chief guest at the Rukon conference organized by the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Jessore City, Sadar and Peshajibi Police Stations at the Jessore District Council (BD Hall) auditorium today (Tuesday, November 18).
He also gave a guiding speech on the recent political situation, elections and the future course of action of the organization.
He also said that the recent death sentence of Sheikh Hasina proved that Allah gives concessions but does not give up and the nation has witnessed the truth today of the political revenge and conspiracy that all our martyred top leaders were victims of.
In this context, he mentioned ATM Azharul Islam and said that he was a victim of political misinterpretation and a planned conspiracy. Mubarak Hossain believes that such a verdict is forcing the nation to think anew and it will be an important chapter in the political history of the country.
Regarding the upcoming national elections, the chief guest said that Jamaat-e-Islami has already appealed to the Election Commission that the 2026 national elections should not be like the controversial elections of the past. He said that this election must be completely transparent, fair and acceptable. The common people should be able to vote safely, without any hindrance and in a fear-free environment - this is the expectation of the nation. He warned the Election Commission and said that no bias will be acceptable. The Election Commission must fulfill its constitutional responsibility by fulfilling the hopes and aspirations of the nation.
Mubarak Hossain believes that respecting the expectations of the people through voting will be the main political message of the future.
He also said that Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is continuing its election work in the field by fielding candidates for 300 seats in the country. Candidates have already been announced for six seats in Jessore district. He said that to keep Jamaat politically cornered Despite various efforts, people are now looking at Jamaat with more interest and expectations than before. The establishment of an Islamic-based welfare state is the expectation of people from all walks of life.
Professor Golam Rasool, member of the Central Majlish-e-Shura and Jamaat-nominated candidate for Jessore-4 (Abhaynagar-Bagharpara) constituency, was present as a special guest at the conference. Among others, Jamaat-nominated candidate for Jessore-1 constituency Maulana Azizur Rahman, Jamaat-nominated candidate for Jessore-3 constituency VP Abdul Quader, District Secretary Principal Maulana Abu Zafar Siddique, Assistant Secretary Professor Quddus, Maulana Rezaul Karim, Professor Monirul Islam Abul Hasim Reza, Office Secretary Nur-e-Ala Nur Mamun, Gazi Mukidul Haque and other district leaders were present.
