Mr. Minaj Uddin Sardar, a general worker of Benapole Land Port Handling Workers Union 925, passed away.
He fell ill at 8:30 pm on Tuesday (November 6) and died while undergoing treatment at his home.

He was (65) years old at the time of his death. He is survived by a wife, a son and three daughters.
His funeral prayer was held at 10:30 am on Friday (November 7) in the village of Kanyadah, ward 6.
After the funeral prayer, the body of the deceased was buried in the family graveyard.
At this time, senior leaders of the Nationalist-BNP prayed for the peace of the deceased's soul and expressed their condolences to the bereaved family.
The funeral prayer was attended by Ulashi Union BNP President Abdul Hamid, Sharsha Upazila BNP Labor Affairs Secretary and Benapole Land Port Handling Workers Union 925 General Secretary Md. Shahid Ali, Co-President Ziaur Rahman, Sharsha Jamaat Islam Joint General Secretary Jahangir Alam, Ulashi Union BNP member Ashanur Rahman,
6th Ward BNP President Hazrat Ali, General Secretary Abdul Wahab, Youth Leader Sadeq Ali, Labor Sardar, villagers, religious Muslims and leaders of all levels of BNP were present.
