Mr. Mubarak Hossain, a member of the Central Executive Council of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and the Jamaat-nominated MP candidate for Dhaka-13 constituency, said, “The people of Dhaka-13 constituency have been deprived of services for a long time. We do politics not for power, but for the welfare of the people. Our politics is the politics of justice, honest leadership and achieving the satisfaction of Allah. We want to build a society where the rights of every citizen are ensured and no one is deprived. The unity of the people against corruption, discrimination and injustice will be our biggest strength.”
Today, October 25 (Saturday) morning, a view-sharing meeting was held at the initiative of Mohammadpur Thana Paschim Jamaat with the participation of prominent figures from Mohammadiya Housing and Japan Garden City areas. The chief guest was Janneta Md. Mubarak Hossain, a member of the Central Executive Council of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Jamaat-nominated parliamentary candidate from Dhaka-13 constituency.
Mr. Mubarak Hossain also said, “If we get the love and cooperation of the people, InshaAllah, we will transform this area into an ideal model area - where development will be visible, service will be the main goal of politics.”
Referring to the youth, he said, “The youth of the country are the pioneers of change. By utilizing their talent, strength and honesty, we will build a new Bangladesh. The future is in the hands of the youth, so they must join honest and just politics.”
The leaders of the mosque committee and the house owners’ association present at the meeting expressed deep satisfaction and optimism with Janneta Mubarak Hossain’s speech and reiterated their commitment to bring positive change to the area by standing by his side.
The meeting was presided over by Mohammadpur Thana Paschim Jamaat Ameer Md. Masuduzzaman and conducted by Thana Secretary Md. Rabiul Islam Rubel.
Dhaka-13 Constituency Election Director Md. Shafiur Rahman, Member Secretary Md. Abdul Awal Azam, Freedom Fighter Shamsuddin and Ward No. 33 Councilor Candidate Ali Ahmed Majumder were present as special guests.
Also present were Thana Shura and Working Committee members Ibadat Hossain, Saifur Rahman, Muhtasim Billah, Ward President Professor Hasan Mahmud, Gias Uddin, Maulana Badrul Haque, Anwar Hossain, and leaders from various levels of the area, representatives of the House Owners Association and Mosque Committee.
