After the fall of the Hasina government in the mass uprising of students and the public, when the police, when the investigation work of cases, the recovery of drugs and the arrest of the accused, and various police activities were being severely disrupted, SI Harendranath Debnath joined the Chapainawabganj Sadar Model Police Station at such a critical and difficult time.
Under the prudent leadership and guidance of Superintendent of Police Mr. Md. Rezaul Karim BPM-Seba and the overall supervision of the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the Sadar Model Police Station (OC) Md. Matiur Rahman, SI Harendranath Debnath has been playing a role in maintaining law and order by risking his life. In continuation of that, he has been praised throughout the district by recovering 29 stolen motorcycles, stolen gold ornaments, stolen cows and cars used for rescue work, recovering mobile phones, batteries stolen from shops and seizing pickup vans used for theft.
Investigation revealed that he recovered a stolen laptop and mobile phone in case no. 32/179 from Dupchanchia, Bogra on April 14, 2025, recovered a stolen cow in case no. 39/186 on April 18, 2025, arrested 4 motorcycle thieves on different dates in cases no. 6/213, 49/298, 39/340, and 1/388 of 2025 and recovered about 29 stolen motorcycles based on the information provided by them, arrested an accused in case no. 5/254 on June 3, 2025 and recovered a stolen bicycle, arrested an accused in case no. 46/294 on June 26, 2025 and recovered a stolen battery, arrested a pickup truck used for theft, stolen battery and a thief in case no. 3/304 on July 1, 2025, arrested a stolen car, stolen battery and a thief in case no. 11/313 on July 7, 2025 arrested a thief along with the recovery of a stolen bicycle, in case no. 29/378, on August 21, 2025, a person was arrested along with the recovery of a stolen charger auto, in case no. 11/398, on September 10, 2025, 3 accused were arrested along with the recovery of stolen brass plates, glasses and spoons, in case no. 18/367, on August 16, 2025, the main mastermind was arrested from Nilphamari district for stealing 10 lakh taka from a bank through cyber hacking, and on the 7th of this month, 40 kg of marijuana was recovered, and he also recovered various goods and arrested the accused.
Milan of Belepukur Mohalla in Chapainawabganj Municipality said that SI Harendranath had a complaint of motorcycle theft and ownership, although that motorcycle was not recovered, he resolved the ownership in a beautiful way.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadar Model Police Station Md. Matiur Rahman praised SI Harendranath and said, Harendra Babu is a hardworking and efficient police officer and he performs the duties assigned to him efficiently. SI Harendranath and all the officers of the police station are properly performing the duties assigned to them in maintaining law and order and are playing a role in maintaining law and order. At present, the Sadar Police Station is successfully conducting police activities together shoulder to shoulder. Officer-in-charge Mr. Md. Matiur Rahman sought everyone's cooperation.
