With the funding of Bangladesh NGO Foundation, Samata Nari Unnayan Sangstha distributed free sewing machines to 19 families for the overall development of the poor along with 3 months of training to 19 needy, helpless and widowed women.
Today (October 1st), Wednesday at 4 pm, Samata Nari Unnayan Sangstha distributed these sewing machines in its own office hall room. The program was presided over by the president of Samata Nari Unnayan Sangstha, Ms. Aksana Khatun. The chief guest of the program was the head teacher of Namoshankarbati High School and the president of Chapainawabganj District Sujon, Md. Aslam Kabir. The special guests were senior journalist Kamal Sukarana, female entrepreneur of Dhaynagar Haven Boutique, Hosne Ara Begum, and female entrepreneur in Chapainawabganj, Shamima Begum.
Bangladesh NGO Foundation, under the 6th phase of funding, has provided three months of necessary training for women's economic empowerment and distributed 19 sewing machines to 19 poor, helpless and widowed women.
Applauding such initiatives to make the backward, poor and helpless women of the society economically self-reliant, every NGO should help more young women and girls to stand on their own by training them and distributing sewing machines.
