A discussion meeting was held in Chapainawabganj on the occasion of International Weight Level Safety Day. The meeting was held at the District Press Club, Chapainawabganj on Thursday at 11 am under the initiative of Ahead Foundation Chapainawabganj under the chairmanship of Bangladesh Supreme Court Advocate and Ahead Foundation Executive Director Md. Delwar Hossain. The chief guest was Advocate Mohammad Ishaq, President of Chapainawabganj District Ajibi Samiti. Moderated by CIDA Vice President Md. Afsar Ali, the speakers included former Vice Principal of Nawabganj Government College Shahid Uddin Al Hasan, Principal of Nawabganj City College Md. Tariqul Alam Siddiqui Nayan, General Secretary of Social Workers and Business Association Md. Shawkat Ali, Senior Citizen Nazrul Islam, among others. The speakers said that the theme contains a commitment to convert the results of scientific research into a practical action plan. It is not possible to protect the weight level without international cooperation. Developed countries Global success in protecting the ozone layer has come because of financial and technical support. The damage to this layer of the atmosphere was first noticed in the seventies. Currently, this layer is constantly being damaged due to human lifestyle and excessive carbon consumption. Due to the damage to the layer, the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun have the opportunity to enter the earth directly. As a result, all animals, including humans, are gradually being affected by various serious and complex diseases, including skin cancer. Therefore, the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer was adopted under the Vienna Convention to ensure the protection of the earth's ozone layer. Bangladesh signed the Montreal Protocol in 1990. Since then, Bangladesh has been observing this day every year.
