On Monday (June 2), around 7 pm, they were arrested in a raid on the highway in the Maheshkhalia Para area of the Upazila. During this, fake notes worth 2 lakh 50 thousand taka, a commando bag and Ansar Bahini clothing were recovered.
Police claimed that they bought Yaba at night and transacted with fake money.
The detainees are Ansar members Billal Hossain (37) and Md. Rashed (30).
Teknaf Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge OC Gias Uddin confirmed the matter.
He said that around 7 pm, we received information that some people had come to buy Yaba with fake notes on the highway in the Maheshkhalia Para area of the Upazila. Based on this information, they were arrested in a raid. A case has been filed with the police station in this incident
