A female drug dealer has been arrested with 70,000 pieces of Yaba in a special operation by RAB-15, Teknaf, border upazila of Cox's Bazar. The operation was conducted in the Munder Dale area of Teknaf on Thursday (23 May 2025) night.
A press release sent by RAB-15 said that based on secret information, it was learned that preparations were underway to transfer a large consignment of Yaba in the Munder Dale area. Based on that information, a smart team of RAB-15, CPC-1, Teknaf camp conducted a raid in the area.
A woman was arrested with seventy thousand (70,000) pieces of Yaba tablets and a button mobile phone in the operation. The name of the arrested woman is Chenuara Begum (48). Her husband's name is Shamsul Alam (Prakash Shukkur) and mother's name is Sura Khatun. He is a resident of the Paschim Sagar Par area of Munder Dale under Teknaf police station.
RAB said that necessary legal action has been taken against the arrested drug dealer and he has been handed over to Teknaf Model Police Station.
RAB said that such operations will continue to build a drug-free society.
