Today (May 1), Thursday, drug and arms dealer Md. Shakil Hossain (30) was arrested from Badu Haji Bari of East Kashipur village, Ward No. 7 of Dadpur UP, No. 2 of Noakhali Sadar Upazila.
He is known to be the son of Nur Alam of the same house. In addition, it is known from the source that he is involved in drug trafficking, arms and extortion at a place called Nabi's shop by spreading the influence of local Jubo Dal workers.
During the operation, 500 grams of ganja, 6 rounds of cartridges, 4 rounds of bullets, a total of 10 rounds of bullets and 1 smart mobile used in various criminal groups were recovered from Shakil.
Two separate regular cases have been filed against him under separate sections.
