Even though she disobeyed her family and got married for love in Hnila, Teknaf, Cox's Bazar, the happiness of the family did not come to the newlywed Hira within 3 months. Due to the physical and mental torture of her unemployed and drug-addicted husband,
Hira Moni was killed with an electric shock. When she was given a bath to die, it was identified what she was killed with. Electric shock marks and scars on her hands, body, and feet!
A housewife has been accused of murder. Although the deceased housewife was buried after the funeral, there have been demands for the immediate arrest of the accused absconding husband.
Sources said that in the early hours of the night of May 14, the body of Luluar Marjan Hiramani (18), the newly married wife of son Abbas Uddin, was found with a headscarf wrapped around her neck at the house of Haji Nur Ahmed of Rojar Ghonar in Hnila Maulvi Bazar, Teknaf. At around 2 am, Hiramani's family in Hnila Purba Sikder Para was informed through people. Upon receiving the information, the brothers and sisters and others went to the spot and found Hiram's lifeless body. When the matter was informed to Teknaf Police Station, a police team went to the spot in the morning and after preparing a search report, the body was recovered for postmortem. However, at that time, the mobile phone used by the wife's suspected killer husband was switched off and he was absconding. After the postmortem, the body was brought home in the afternoon. After the Maghrib Namaz-e-Janaza at Hnila Shah Majidiya Alim Madrasa ground, she was buried at a local graveyard. The murder of a newlywed in her in-laws' house has cast a shadow of grief over both families and the area.
It has been learned that Abbas Uddin, a college student of Haji Nur Ahmed of Hnila Maulvi Bazar Rojarghona, and Morjan Hiramoni (18), a student of the madrasa of former teacher Mir Kashem of Hnila Purba Sikder Para, eloped and got married on January 21st of this year due to a love affair. Less than 3 months after their marriage, family strife arose in their family due to unemployment. In the meantime, the husband left the newlywed alone at home and returned home late at night. Occasionally, he would fall in love with bad friends and take drugs. Regarding this, the housewife Hira would say, "I left everything and ran away to you." When asked about this activity, arguments and family strife arose between the two.
Hira's brother Hosne Mubarak said, "Although Hira was angry about marrying Abbas without informing us, I used to keep her informed about her younger sister regularly. When we learned about the quarrel between them over her husband's unemployment, we decided to open a pharmacy as a family decision after the upcoming Qurban and become self-sufficient. In the meantime, when I heard the news of my sister's death, my head was shattered. When I went to the scene, I heard that my sister had committed suicide by hanging herself. Although her headscarf was tied around her neck, there were no marks anywhere on her body except for a small scar on her neck. However, there were black marks on the left leg below the knee, which looked like a short circuit, and two marks of light cuts with a knife or a knife when the body was being bathed. We think that the unemployed and drug-addicted husband staged this drama by killing himself. After burying the body, preparations are being made to file a written complaint in the Teknaf Police Station in a murder case.
The owner of the house and the deceased housewife's father-in-law, Haji Nur Ahmed, who is ill, said, "We still don't understand how such a heinous incident happened."
Jamir Uddin, the brother-in-law of the deceased Hira, said, "I shop at Maulvi Bazar station. I came to Cox's Bazar to buy goods yesterday afternoon. I suddenly called from home late at night and said that my younger brother Abbas's wife had committed suicide by hanging herself. I can't understand why such a heinous incident happened. However, since the younger brother Abbas's mobile phone was switched off and he covered his body, I couldn't find out the real cause of death."
Teknaf Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Muhammad Gias Uddin told reporters in this regard, "We received the information and sent the police to the spot, recovered the body and sent it to the morgue. If we receive a written complaint in this regard, prompt action will be taken for the investigation."
The common man has strongly demanded the administration to quickly arrest the murderer and bring him to justice.
