The special welfare meeting organized by RPMP Rangpur, Rangpur Range, Bangladesh Police at Rangpur District Police Line Drillshed was attended by the chief guest: Mr. Baharul Alam, BPM, Inspector General of Police, Bangladesh. The special welfare meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Md. Aminul Islam, DIG, Rangpur Range, Rangpur. The special guest in the said welfare meeting was: Mr. Md. Majid Ali, BPM, Police Commissioner RPMP, Rangpur. Also present in the said welfare meeting were the CID, PBI, ATU Highway Police, Tourist Police, Anti-Terrorism, Police Training Center Rangpur, RAB-13 Commander, Senior Officers and Officers-in-Charge of Police Super Range and RPMP of all districts.
In the said welfare meeting, officers and employees of different categories of police raised their various problems, such as appointment of specialist doctors in hospitals, provision of medicines for families, special allowances, risk allowances and other problems.
The Honorable IGP said, whoever gave the order to use excessive force is responsible for the massacre. No constable will be charged, if he does not do the duty, then that is a different matter. Everyone will have to work patiently.
He assured that the various problems of the force will be resolved and that all efforts will be made to resolve all the issues that will take time. The welfare meeting ended with prayers at the Iftar Mahfil, wishing everyone good health and longevity.
