On the occasion of the two-year anniversary of the Bangladesh Entertainment Journalists Association (BABISAS), the ATN Bangla BABISAS Awards 2023-2024 ceremony was held on Saturday evening, February 22, at the Bangla Auditorium of BFDC in the capital under the chairmanship of the organization's president Abul Hossain Majumder. Film actress Anwara Begum was present as the chief guest. ATN Bangla Advisor (Programs and Broadcasting) Tashik Ahmed, President of Bangladesh Film Club Limited Lion M Nazrul Islam Chowdhury, Bangladesh Federal Journalists Union BFUJ Organizing Secretary Erfanul Haque Nahid, former Secretary General of Bangladesh Film Directors Association Badiul Alam Khokon, President of Bangladesh Film Journalists Association Kamrul Hasan Darpan were present as special guests. A host of popular stars from the Bengali film and music industry were present at the ceremony. Moderated by the organization's general secretary Rashid Newton and Bhabna Ahmed, the program was addressed by film actress Rozina, artist-composer and music director Ethun Babu, film actress Shabnam Parveen, film actress Romna Islam Mukti, and journalist Faruk Hossain Majumder. This time, the film awards were received by heroes Shakib Khan, Siam Ahmed, Mahfuz Ahmed, Nirob Hossain and Joy Chowdhury, heroines Shabnam Bubli, Pooja Cherry, Romna Islam Mukti, Joya Ahsan, and Bobby Haque. ATN Bangla and ATN News chairman and media personality Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman received a special honor. Aparup TV chairman Jinnat Ali was awarded for his special contribution to journalism. These awards are given in various branches of television, music, dance, advertising and journalism.
